Arranging the work for the HS
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a winter tire change on the Lexus HS, we connect you with a trusted shop. Winter tires grip better in cold, snow and ice than all-season tires.
Your HS and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. If you have the service history of your HS, have it ready for the shop.
Our part and the shop's part
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Stay on the road
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Good habits for your car
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Make a request
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request winter tires
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
