Winter tires: how we help

For a winter tire change on the Lexus RX, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Swapping to winter tires in fall and back in spring is the usual routine.

Your RX and the shop

The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the RX.

How the request works

We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.

A rental while you wait

If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

Before the shop starts

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Car care, briefly

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Still deciding?

A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.

Request winter tires

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
