For a winter tire change on the Saturn, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Winter tires grip better in cold, snow and ice than all-season tires.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
How we help
You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
A rental while you wait
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Getting a clear quote
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Between shop visits
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
