    Winter tires: how we help

CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a winter tire change on the 2018 Toyota Corolla CE, we connect you with a trusted shop. Storing your off-season tires is often something the shop can arrange.

    About your Corolla

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.

    The steps

The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.

    Talking to the shop

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

    Car care, briefly

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

    The Corolla and Java

Java is about 442 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.
