Winter tires for the Volvo

CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a winter tire change on the Volvo, we connect you with a trusted shop. Winter tires are worth fitting before the first snow.

Your car, your notes

Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.

Our part and the shop's part

The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.

A rental while you wait

Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

What to ask

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Car care, briefly

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

Make a request

Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.

Request winter tires

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
