Battery Boost in Beta, NC

Getting it done

If you need battery service in Beta: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What it involves: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.

The steps

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

A short checklist

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Good habits for your car

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
