Battery Boost in Tasker, WA

Arranging the work in Tasker

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Tasker is about 3,227 km away. What it involves: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.

The steps

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Good habits for your car

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
