Emissions Test in Tasker, WA

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Tasker is about 3,227 km away. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Who does what

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
