Car Battery Replacement in Ruby, MS

Arranging the work in Ruby

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Ruby is about 1,626 km away. The job: A car battery tested and replaced, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.

The steps

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Getting a clear quote

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Good habits for your car

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
