Car Diagnostics in Alpha, AR

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Alpha is about 1,536 km away. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

From request to repair

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Good habits for your car

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
