Car Diagnostics in Baldwin, FL

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Baldwin. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What to send us

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Small things that help

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
