Car Diagnostics in Bascom, FL

Car Diagnostics in Bascom

For a diagnostic check in Bascom, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What to send us

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. A person replies within one business day. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

What to ask

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Between shop visits

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
