Car Diagnostics in Carleton, North Devon

Arranging the work in Carleton

If you need a diagnostic check in Carleton: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The steps

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Getting a clear quote

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
