Car Diagnostics in Carleton, PE

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,226 km from Carleton, and does not do this work itself. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

From request to repair

Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Between shop visits

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
