Towing in Carleton, PE

Arranging the work in Carleton

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Carleton is about 1,226 km away. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

What to send us

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Between shop visits

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
