Car Diagnostics in Castleton, KS

Car Diagnostics for Castleton

If you need a diagnostic check in Castleton: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What to send us

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Good habits for your car

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Questions to ask the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
