Car Diagnostics in Coffing, CA

Arranging the work in Coffing

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Coffing. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Our part and the shop's part

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
