What CarmaCars does here

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Good habits for your car

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
