Car Diagnostics in Dane

Car Diagnostics in Dane

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Dane. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

From request to repair

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Car care, briefly

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
