Towing in Dane

Towing for Dane

If you need a tow in Dane: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

From request to repair

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

A short checklist

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Between shop visits

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
