Car Diagnostics in Dunkley, BC

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,296 km from Dunkley, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

From request to repair

A person replies within one business day. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
