Good fits

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

What to bring

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking in plain terms

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
