Car Diagnostics in Hampton, NS

Car Diagnostics near Hampton

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Hampton is about 1,113 km away. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

What CarmaCars does here

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Before the shop starts

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
