Car Diagnostics in Killam, AB

Getting it done

We arrange a diagnostic check through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Killam. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The steps

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. A person replies within one business day. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

A short checklist

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Car care, briefly

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
