Towing in Killam, AB

Arranging the work in Killam

If you need a tow in Killam: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How the arrangement works

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. A person replies within one business day. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Good habits for your car

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
