Car Diagnostics in Los Cascalotes, Michoacan

Car Diagnostics for Los Cascalotes

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Los Cascalotes is about 3,363 km away. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

The steps

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. A person replies within one business day. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Between shop visits

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
