Emissions Test in Los Cascalotes, Michoacan

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Los Cascalotes. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Who does what

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

What to ask

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Between shop visits

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
