Car Diagnostics in Lyons, NY

Car Diagnostics: how we help

Searching for car diagnostics in Lyons? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, but we arrange it with a trusted shop. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

How we help

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. A person replies within one business day.

A car while yours is in the shop

A rental keeps the school run and the commute on track. The rental is booked with us, separate from the shop's bill. Free pickup at our location is always an option.

Small things that help

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
