Car Diagnostics in Modoc, AR

Getting it done

Searching for car diagnostics in Modoc? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our shops are in the Toronto area. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The steps

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Before the shop starts

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

Between shop visits

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
