Car Diagnostics in Optimo, NM

Arranging the work in Optimo

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Optimo. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What CarmaCars does here

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

What to ask

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
