Car Diagnostics in Pine Point

Car Diagnostics in Pine Point

For a diagnostic check, CarmaCars sits in the middle: we arrange the work with a trusted shop and rent you a car while yours is in. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

How the arrangement works

We can deliver a rental car to you while yours is at the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

A car while yours is in the shop

A rental keeps the school run and the commute on track. If the shop finishes early, return the rental early. Free pickup at our location is always an option.

Between shop visits

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
