Towing in Pine Point

Towing: how we help

Need a tow in Pine Point? CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Plainly: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How the arrangement works

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

A rental while you wait

When the shop is done, we collect the rental from you. If the shop finishes early, return the rental early. Picking the car up yourself at our location costs nothing.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
