Car Diagnostics in Pineview, ID

Getting it done

Car Diagnostics in Pineview: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Our part and the shop's part

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Before the shop starts

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Small things that help

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
