What CarmaCars does here

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Small things that help

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Getting a clear quote

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
