Car Diagnostics in Pratt, MO

Car Diagnostics in Pratt

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Pratt. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

What CarmaCars does here

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

What to ask

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
