Car Diagnostics in Ruby, WA

Getting it done

Searching for car diagnostics in Ruby? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our shops are in the Toronto area. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Who does what

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

What to ask

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Where we work

We are based in Toronto; Ruby is not somewhere we have a location. Ruby lies about 2,946 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

For work in Ruby, ask in a request and we tell you honestly whether we know a shop there. If we do not know a shop in Ruby, we say so rather than guess. Ask us about Ruby in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

When you know your dates

Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
