Car Diagnostics in Stuart, FL

Getting it done

If you need a diagnostic check in Stuart: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

How the arrangement works

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Getting a clear quote

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Small things that help

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
