Car Diagnostics in Summit, SD

Car Diagnostics in Summit

If you need a diagnostic check in Summit: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. In short: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

From request to repair

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Car care, briefly

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

What to ask

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
