Buying a car in Summit

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Buying smart in Ontario

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Bridging the gap

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
