Car Diagnostics in Summit, UT

Car Diagnostics in Summit

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Summit is about 2,890 km away. In short: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

From request to repair

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Good habits for your car

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Before the shop starts

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
