Car Diagnostics in Winchell, NY

Getting it done

We arrange a diagnostic check through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Winchell. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

How the request works

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Car care, briefly

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
