Towing in Winchell, NY

Getting it done

We arrange a tow through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Winchell. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How the request works

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Getting a clear quote

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Good habits for your car

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
