Car Diagnostics in Wise, NC

Car Diagnostics for Wise

We arrange a diagnostic check through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Wise. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Who does what

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

A short checklist

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
