Emissions Test in Adelphi, VI

Arranging the work in Adelphi

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Adelphi. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What to send us

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Between shop visits

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Before the shop starts

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
