Emissions Test in Resolution, VI

Arranging the work in Resolution

Emissions Test in Resolution: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

The steps

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Your request reaches a person, not a machine.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
