Emissions Test in Argyle

Arranging the work in Argyle

If your car needs an emissions test, send a request: we find a trusted shop for it and keep you moving with a rental. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Who does what

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

A car while yours is in the shop

A rental from us means you are not stuck while the shop works. Choose a car that suits your week; delivery is priced in the offer. Collecting it from us in Toronto is free.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
