Emissions Test in Bath, NB

Arranging the work in Bath

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 965 km from Bath, and does not do this work itself. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the request works

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Good habits for your car

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
