Emissions Test in Chemainus, BC

Emissions Test near Chemainus

If you need an emissions test in Chemainus: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How we help

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Good habits for your car

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
