Emissions Test near Coderre
We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Coderre. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
How the request works
You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.
A car while yours is in the shop
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. You are also welcome to collect the car at our location for free.
Before the shop starts
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Car care, briefly
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
One more step
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
