Emissions Test in Crooks, SD

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Crooks is about 1,408 km away. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What CarmaCars does here

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Questions to ask the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Car care, briefly

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
